Rob is a recovering lawyer, with over 14 years of construction law experience prior to joining Infrastructure Ontario in 2006. In his current role at Infrastructure Ontario, Rob is responsible for leading the procurement and delivery of major civil infrastructure projects using the Infrastructure Ontario’s Alternative Financing and Procurement (AFP) model. In addition to the Finch West and Eglinton Crosstown LRTs, Rob is responsible for the Ottawa Confederation Line LRT and the Toronto Union Station - Pearson International Airport “UP Express” Air Rail Link 3.2 km Spur and Terminal 1 Station. While practicing law in the private sector, he negotiated agreements many for large projects, including the 99-year Concession and Ground Lease Agreement for Highway 407 Express Toll Route, the Bruce Power Steam Generator Replacement EPC contract, and the Voisey’s Bay Nickel Project EPMC contract.
